Add life back into your soil with our Cottontail Cannabis Worm Castings!
Our premium worm castings are created by feeding our worms a controlled diet mixed with our composts. It starts with a leaf mold compost mixed with a compost mix we make from our second screening as a base for the worms. We then feed the worms food waste supplemented and mixed with a carefully crafted mixture of amendments for grit. We use as little cardboard as possible with our worms, but the cardboard that we do use is loaded with insect frass from a few different insects that are bred as reptile feed.
Our crafted mixture ensures our castings have nutrients busting with healthy microbes and natural growth hormones.
We use high quality inputs to make the finest castings around. We know healthy soil makes for great growing soil.
Improves: Soil Structure, Aeration, and Plant Health
We harvest worm castings for our customers to mix into their soil (whether directly into the ground or in potted plants) to promote the best soil structure and aeration.
Worm casting bacteria is ideal for plant growth. It contains beneficial microbes that protect plants from disease while also promoting nitrogen, which helps plants thrive.
One of the most beneficial aspects of earthworm castings is that it is an all natural option. While some chemical fertilizers may speed up certain processes, we do not know the extent of their long term effects, especially when it comes to growing food that humans consume or materials that humans smoke.
The high levels of nutrients, and trace elements in worm castings, make them like a multivitamin for your soil. They have all the benefits of commercial fertilizers, but are 100% natural.
Worm Castings are shown to:
– Improve soil structure
– Improve water retention
– Improve nutrient retention
– Improve plant health
– Boost plant growth
– Do not burn plants
– Improves aeration
– Speeds up germination
– Increases yield by 10-50%
– Reduces susceptibility of plants to disease and pests
– Enhances root growth
*NOTE: We believe in compost being a living, breathing organism. For this reason, your worm castings may (more than likely) come with worms, worm eggs, and other compost critters found naturally such as: nematodes, isopods, and other beneficial organisms.
